Introducing Ametalin FireSark™
Ametalin FireSark™ is the Australian made, multipurpose building membrane which is suitable for installation in all multi-level apartments and commercial structures, walls and ceilings where extra fire performance is required. Ametalin FireSark™ is manufactured with advanced laminating technology from a stringently selected fibreglass weave which is not deemed combustible as per AS 1530.1—1994: Combustibility test for materials. The material will resist all fire conditions, including ember attack through apertures in the wall and roof construction.

The fibreglass weave has achieved a result of not deemed combustible when tested in accordance with AS 1530.1—1994.

FireSark has a flammability index of 1.

All building membranes must comply with AS/NZS 4200.1:2017 Pliable building membranes and underlays, Part 1: Materials, which covers duty rating, infra-red emittance, and water control, and so on. All such products must be labelled clearly in accordance with this standard. When installed adjacent to an air cavity, Ametalin FireSark™ will contribute to system R-Value in accordance with AS/NZS 4859.1:2018 Materials for the thermal insulation of buildings.
Ametalin FireSark™ is now available in 1350 mm wide rolls for designers and specifiers, as well as home builders and renovators in Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Zones. The appropriate test reports are available for compliance purposes on request from Ametalin Labs.
